We are delighted to offer a fantastic golf experience for all Mixed and Women’s Pairs, with the opportunity to watch the Final Round of the 2024 AIG Women’s Open from the Home of Golf the iconic St Andrews Old Course followed by playing three of Scotland’s finest golf courses Lundin Links, Leven Links and Ladybank Golf Club, all of which have hosted the regional or final rounds of Open qualifying.

* To participate in any HIO Pairs Event all players must have an official WHS Handicap Index from your golf club or from an iGolf subscription. Please Note: You do not have to have scored a Hole in One to enter our pairs events*

Our winning Pair will qualify to play in the National Pairs Playoff Finals for an all expenses trip to the HIO-Club 2025 Grand Final at TPC Sawgrass.

The Hole In One Club are delighted to announce this must play pairs event, with 1 Round over Lundin Links, 1 Round over Leven Links and 1 Round over Ladybank Golf Club.

The Golf Courses

Lundin Links Golf Club
Lundin Links is a very picturesque yet challenging golf course located on the east coast of the Kingdom of Fife, with stunning views out across the Firth of Forth to North Berwick, Gullane, Longniddry and Edinburgh. Originally laid out by Old Tom Morris in 1868, the course was extensively redesigned by James Braid in 1909 and is regularly used as an Open Qualifying Venue when the tournament is held at nearby St Andrews. The fine links fairways, excellent greens, open burns and strategic bunkering make this course a memorable start to our pairs championship.

Leven Links Golf Club
Leven Links Golf Club is one of the very oldest links courses in Scotland with golf dating back to the mid 1800’s. The Links is thought to be the first layout in the world of golf to feature 18 tees and 18 separate greens. The traditional links boasts rolling fairways, many of which are lined by ancient sand dunes, fast putting surfaces, burns, and pot bunkers.
The course has been used for final pre-qualifying for the Open Championship and is the 11th oldest golf club in the world. A true seaside golf course with a range of interesting yet challenging holes complement the beautiful landscape and create a challenge in which all golfers or pairs can feel the rich history of the layout.

Ladybank Golf Club
A heathland course of Championship status (Par 71) set amongst heather, pine trees and silver birch.

St Andrews will welcome the world’s best golfers in August 2024 when they take on golf’s most iconic course – with fans being treated to world-class entertainment both on and off the course.

Tournament & Accommodation Packages
The location of our 2024 Championship allows for a number of accommodation options to suit every budget.

We have chosen two local hotels for our pairs wishing to book an accommodation package. The Crusoe Hotel situated in Lower Largo and the Old Manor Hotel are both only minutes from Lundin and Leven Links and approximately 20 mins to Ladybank Golf Club, both hotels offer fine food and excellent accommodation options.

For pairs wishing to book a golf only package a number of Air B&B’s are available, local B&B’s and budget hotels (Travelodge/Premier Inn) can be found locally in Glenrothes and for those pairs wishing to enjoy the unforgettable town of St Andrews they are within 30 mins drive from all three courses.

A beautiful seaside pub and hotel with remarkable views, perched on the edge of Lower Largo Beach. The Crusoe is a great place to relax after a round on the links and it offers some of the best locally sourced food that Scotland has to offer.

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, they form the basis of your contract with HIO Events Limited and set out our respective rights and obligations.

All hotel and room upgrades are subject to availability at the time of booking.

A £200.00 deposit per amateur player will secure your team place in to the event with a further the final balance due on or before the 1st May 2024.

Upon receipt of entry a written confirmation will be issued.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all insurance, and Covid health requirements. It is your responsibility to check current regulations and if our company incurs fines or surcharges as a result of your negligence you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly.

We accept responsibility for all parts of the event as described in our literature and agree to supply such to a reasonable standard. We accept responsibility for the acts and omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors (providing at the time they were carrying out work authorized by us). Except where loss and or damage to luggage or personal possessions are concerned, we highly recommend that personal travel insurance is obtained prior to the event to cover such damage. We cannot be held responsible for the condition of golf courses because of maintenance or climate, we will try to keep clients informed of the up-to-date conditions.

In the unlikely event of a complaint please notify us immediately, most issues are easily resolved whilst you are on an event. If the matter is not solved to your satisfaction then please write to HIO Events within 28 days of your return, we will not accept liability after this time.

You may cancel at any time but the instructions will only be valid if we are notified in writing.
