Welcome to our Champagne Pairs Betterball at the wonderful Carden Park Resort, a place where joy, refinement and connection with nature coexist.

Challenge yourself to two of the most highly-regarded golf courses in the North West of England with pristine greens in stunning surroundings, experience a truly luxurious golfing retreat and maybe the odd glass of bubbly.

The event will be played over both Carden Park Golf Courses the Championship Nicklaus and stunning Cheshire, which will provide a true and genuine test of golf for all players.

Our winning pair will qualify to play in the National Pairs Playoff Finals for an all expenses trip to the HIO-Club 2025 Grand Final to TPC Sawgrass.

The Hole In One Club are delighted to announce this must play event, a 36 Hole Pairs Event with 1 Round over the Nicklaus Course and 1 Round over the Cheshire Course.

Set within 1000 acres of Cheshire countryside, Carden Park Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa features a modern spa, 2 championship golf courses and luxury rooms with scenic views. Just 20 minutes’ drive from Chester, there is free parking and free Wi-Fi.

The Spa at Carden features one of the UK’s largest spa gardens, with hot tubs, a panoramic sauna and an outdoor pool. This facility is bookable as a separate experience to your stay at Carden Park and also contains a restaurant, treatment rooms and an extensive indoor thermal suite.

In a 17th-century estate, Carden Park Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa has a fitness centre with a swimming pool, gym, and treatment rooms. The Vines offers a gourmet dining experience featuring the very finest, fresh and locally sourced ingredients. In Redmond’s you can expect a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in our brasserie-style restaurant. Morgan’s Bar serves afternoon teas, lunch and evening drinks. There is also Jack’s Bar with great views over the championship golf course, making this an outstanding venue for our pairs event.

The Spa at Carden Park 

Nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside is the newly built Spa at Carden, a £10 million world-class spa. The Spa features one of the UK’s largest Spa Gardens as well as an abundance of indoor thermal experiences. The Spa Garden features three hot tubs, five heated pods, an outdoor sauna, Bollinger Bar and a heated outdoor vitality pool. The Thermal Facilities include an extensive vitality pool, heated loungers, salt steam rooms, tepidarium, aromatherapy steam room, experiences showers, bio sauna and Finnish sauna. Take in the views from our Bollinger Beauty Bar or whilst enjoying a delicious lunch at our restaurant Elements. Sit back and relax in one of our three relaxation rooms.

Golf Courses
The Nicklaus Course

Designed by the great Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve, the Nicklaus Course at Carden Park is definitely a strategist dream with each shot requiring thought and it rewards you for playing with your next shot in mind.The Nicklaus Course has many fantastic holes to enjoy throughout your round, however, the 1st is certainly one of the best with an incredibly picturesque tee shot with excellent views of the Welsh hills and beautiful Cheshire countryside, its located right next to the onsite vineyard for a truly special first hole experience. Also, the 17th deserves a special mention with its special water feature and challenging approach shot in. Host venue to the 2023 PGA Fourball Championships.

The Cheshire Course
Leading to a dramatic finish, the Cheshire golf course offers many challenges along the way with natural hazards to test every golfer. Situated at the back of the estate, the Cheshire golf course has beautiful views across the estate and the Welsh hills beyond. The bunkers have been designed to flow with the natural contours of the landscape; you will need a sharp swing to keep out of them all!!

As you get towards the end of your game, the 16th and 17th lead you to the 18th hole set upon a cliff overlooking the full estate and provide a stunning finish and climax to your round.

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, they form the basis of your contract with HIO Events Limited and set out our respective rights and obligations.

All hotel and room upgrades are subject to availability at the time of booking.

A £200.00 deposit per pair will secure your team place in to the event with a further the final balance due on or before the 1st February 2024.

Upon receipt of entry a written confirmation will be issued.

In the event that the pairs event being cancelled due to any Covid 19 restrictions in place on travel or golf all teams will be offered alternative dates or a full refund if not wishing to continue with their booking.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all insurance.

We accept responsibility for all parts of the event as described in our literature and agree to supply such to a resonable standard. We accept responsibility for the acts and omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors (providing at the time they were carrying out work authorisedby us). Except where loss and or damage to luggage or personal possessions are concerned, we highly recommend that personal travel insurance is obtained prior to the event to cover such damage. We cannot be held responsible for the condition of golf courses because of maintenance or climate, we will try to keep clients informed of the up-to-date conditions.

In the unlikely event of a complaint please notify us immediately, most issues are easily resolved whilst you are on an event. If the matter is not solved to your satisfaction then please write to HIO Events within 28 days of your return, we will not accept liability after this time.

You may cancel at any time but the instructions will only be valid if we are notified in writing.
