Welcome to our 4th Aberdeenshire Links HIO Pairs which will take place over three of Scotland’s finest links courses Trump International Scotland (Ranked No23 in the Britain/Ireland Top 100), Royal Aberdeen (Ranked No21) and Peterhead (Ranked No65 in Scotland’s Top 100 Golf Courses), this is simply an outstanding golf experience on a magical stretch of perfect links golfing terrain.

* To participate in any HIO Pairs Event all players must have an official WHS Handicap Index from your golf club or from an iGolf subscription. Please Note: You do not have to have scored a Hole in One to enter our pairs events*

Our winning Pair will qualify to play in the National Pairs Playoff Finals for an all expenses trip to the HIO-Club 2024 Grand Final at TPC Sawgrass.

The Hole In One Club are delighted to announce this must play pairs event, with 1 Round over Trump International, 1 Round over Royal Aberdeen (Balgownie Course) and 1 Round over Peterhead (Old Course) Golf Club.

The Golf Courses

Peterhead Golf Club
Peterhead Golf Club is located in the charming coastal town of Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. Just a short drive from the bustling city of Aberdeen, this stunning course offers golfers an unforgettable experience amidst breathtaking scenery.

Established in 1841, Peterhead Golf Club boasts a rich history and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the North East of Scotland. The course was designed by the famous golf architect, Willie Park Jr, who was also responsible for the design of other prestigious golf courses such as the Old Course at Sunningdale, Gullane and Bruntsfield Links.

Royal Aberdeen Golf Club
Royal Aberdeen Golf Club in Aberdeen, Scotland, was founded in 1780 as the Society of Golfers at Aberdeen and became the Aberdeen Golf Club in 1815. Until 1888 members played on the Queen’s Links close to the city before moving across the River Don to the links at Balgownie. The Course was originally designed by the Simpson Brothers, Archie and Robert of Carnoustie and later re-bunkered and lengthened by James Braid to ensure our classic links kept pace with the modern game.

The club’s ‘Royal’ patronage was awarded by Edward VII in 1903.

The course has enjoyed a rich tournament history including the very best in amateur golf as a past host of Scottish and international events. In more recent history, this classic links layout has hosted The Senior British Open which was won by one of the game’s greatest ever links players, Tom Watson, and The Scottish Open which was won by England’s Justin Rose and the 2011 Walker Cup Match.

The event is open to Men’s, Ladies and Mixed Pairs over the age of 18 years and above

Booking Conditions

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, they form the basis of your contract with HIO Events Limited and set out our respective rights and obligations.

All hotel and room upgrades are subject to availability at the time of booking.

A £200.00 deposit per amateur player will secure your team place in to the event with a further the final balance due on or before the 1st July 2024.

Upon receipt of entry a written confirmation will be issued.

In the event that the pairs event being cancelled due to any Covid 19 restrictions in place on travel or golf all teams will be offered alternative dates or a full refund if not wishing to continue with their booking.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all insurance, and Covid health requirements. It is your responsibility to check current regulations and if our company incurs fines or surcharges as a result of your negligence you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly.

We accept responsibility for all parts of the event as described in our literature and agree to supply such to a reasonable standard. We accept responsibility for the acts and omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors (providing at the time they were carrying out work authorized by us). Except where loss and or damage to luggage or personal possessions are concerned, we highly recommend that personal travel insurance is obtained prior to the event to cover such damage. We cannot be held responsible for the condition of golf courses because of maintenance or climate, we will try to keep clients informed of the up-to-date conditions.

In the unlikely event of a complaint please notify us immediately, most issues are easily resolved whilst you are on an event. If the matter is not solved to your satisfaction then please write to HIO Events within 28 days of your return, we will not accept liability after this time.

You may cancel at any time but the instructions will only be valid if we are notified in writing.
