All HIO-Club events are open to golfers of all ages, both male+female and you don't need to have scored a Hole in 1 to participate in our events :)

Your golf experience is £129 per person – you can book it easily by adding your tee time to your cart and checking out on our website. Places at all events can be secured in two ways — either pay in full by checking out directly through the store, or reserve your spot with a £100 deposit, with the remaining balance due 90 days before the start of the event. Qualifiers are open to all Men, Women and Mixed Pairs over the age of
18 years and above.

Prize Eligibility

You will need to have played 6 x formal competitions in the 12 months proceeding the event to be eligible for prizes. A formal competition is one which is run by an approved organization such as a golf club/county association and is different from a social round. Evidence of this is required before prizes are awarded.

The winning pair will qualify to play in the National Pairs Playoff Finals for an all expenses trip to the HIO-Club 2026 Grand Final to TPC Sawgrass.

Please Note: If the event has 6 x or more Mixed/Women’s Pairs we will offer a separate qualification section.

Seaton Carew Golf Club

Seaton Carew Golf Club was founded in 1874, this makes it the 10th oldest golf club in England. Although, the original 14-hole layout was extended to 18-holes before the end of the 19th century, in 1925 it was decided that Seaton’s links needed a major revamp and Dr. Alister Mackenzie was chosen to carry out the work. Over the years, Seaton Carew has hosted a number of prestigious amateur events including two Brabazon Trophies and, as a celebration of the club’s 150th anniversary in 2024, it was invited to host the English Amateur Championships. This is a genuine amazing links course and the perfect start for our 1st Round.

Cleveland Golf Club

Cleveland Golf Club was established in 1887, our course is the only true Championship links, and also the Oldest Course in the County of Yorkshire. Over the clubs history, it is known that a few architects have had involvement in the design of the golf course, the most famous being Old Tom Morris, Harry S Colt, and then in 2000 Donald Steel, who designed three new holes. In 2007 the club hosted the English Golf Union County Finals, and many other County and Professional events, and is the home to the Amateur scratch competition the Cleveland Salver. In August 2011, the club hosted the Yorkshire County Team Championship. In the August of 2017, we held the prestigious Yorkshire Amateur Championship, where Alex Fitzpatrick was victorious, during the Championship, Alex shot Course Record 62 on his way to victory.
