In partnership with PXG Golf, we are excited to welcome all players to the inaugural Northumbrian HIO Pairs, one of our flagship “Majors.” This prestigious event will be played on three of the UK’s finest courses: The Roxburghe, Goswick Links, and Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Clubs.

Each course is ranked among the Top 100 Golf Courses and offers a unique challenge, combining exceptional design with breathtaking views of the stunning North East coastline. Test your golfing skills in this unforgettable tournament set against some of the most scenic and inspiring backdrops in the region.

All HIO-Club events are open to golfers of all ages, both male+female and you don't need to have scored a Hole in 1 to participate in our events :)

Your golf experience is £279 – you can book it easily by adding your tee time to your cart and checking out on our website. Places at all events can be secured in two ways — either pay in full by checking out directly through the store, or reserve your spot with a £100 deposit, with the remaining balance due 90 days before the start of the event. Qualifiers are open to all Men, Women and Mixed Pairs over the age of
18 years and above.

Our Leading Daily Pair plus our 54-Hole Northumbrian Salver Aggregate Champions will qualify for the National HIO Pairs Playoff Finals to Playoff for a trip to TPC Sawgrass.
Please Note: If the event has 6 x or more Mixed/Women’s Pairs we will offer a separate qualification section.
Daily nearest the pin prizes.
1st Place Pair will receive a fully fitted PXG Driver each.
2nd Place Pair will receive Luxury PXG Stand Bags.

Goswick Links Golf Club

Founded in 1890, Goswick Links is an authentic seaside links located along the beautiful Northumberland Coastline, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, halfway between Newcastle and Edinburgh and just south of the historic market town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed and the England/Scotland border. It affords sensational views of the North Sea, Holy Island and majestic Bamburgh Castle.

The Roxburghe

The Roxburghe Championship Golf Course was conceived by The Duke of Roxburghe, an avid golfer who commissioned Dave Thomas to design and construct the unique golf course with spectacular Scottish Border views on the Roxburghe Estate. The course was opened in 1997, and the result of Thomas’s design bears his distinct hallmark of well positioned bunkers and large USGA rolling greens. The wide fairways of the course follow the natural contours of the landscape and, make full use of the many changes in levels .

Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club

Sitting in the shadow of the 14th century Dunstanburgh Castle, the course wraps around the magnificent Embleton Bay, recently voted the best stretch of coastline in Britain. Designed by Open Championship winner and renowned course architect James Braid, Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course offers a true test of links golf with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the clubhouse, a visit that will live long in the memory.
