Home to the world’s 5th oldest golf course. Montrose Golf Links offers one of the purest links experiences in Scotland. The 1562 links and Broomfield links combine to create a fantastic 36 holes of golf making it the perfect links experience in the Angus region of Scotland.
Montrose offers the front nine long the coast and then you move a little more inland to play some exceptional holes on the back 9. The 16th & 17th will offer anyone the chance to ruin their scorecard, long Par 3 then a gorse filled banking awaiting a pulled tee shot at the 17th. Links golf at its best.

All HIO-Club events are open to golfers of all ages, both male+female and you don't need to have scored a Hole in 1 to participate in our events :) Just simply pick your tee time and book up!

All players must have an active WHS Handicap or iGolf handicap
Qualifiers are open to all Men, Women and Mixed Pairs over the age of
18 years and above.

The winning pair will qualify to play in the National Pairs Playoff Finals for an all expenses trip to the HIO-Club 2026 Grand Final toTPC Sawgrass.
Please Note: If the event has 6 x or more Mixed/Women’s Pairs we will offer a separate qualification section.
