Cabot Highlands Old Petty Course

Old Petty, an 18-hole Tom Doak design, is an authentic celebration of Inverness’s rich history. Doak’s routing threads along a tidal estuary, bringing golfers even closer to the 400-year-old castle, and plays alongside Old Petty Church, which was built in 1839. The course’s logo honours the region’s iconic highland cow (“coo”) and rich colours. The year 2026 promises beautiful juxtaposition—a time to unveil world-class golf while celebrating the profound history on which it sits. This is a true links experience set against Inverness’s rich history, Old Petty will be an exciting new chapter alongside its world-renowned neighbour, Castle Stuart.

Cabot Highlands Castle Stuart Course

The Castle Stuart Golf Course is at the heart of the highlands offering classic links golf that is beautifully complemented by spectacular views overlooking a truly breathtaking coastal landscape. Opened in 2009 and designed by Mark Parsinen and Gill Hanse, the 18-hole, 6,592 yards, par 72 golf course at Castle Stuart is the epitome of contemporary links course architecture, with wide fairways, huge undulations, and extraordinary greens, all bordered by thin fescue, broom, gorse, and heather. Having played host to the Scottish Open on four occasions, it is clear that both the facilities and course are among the very best in the UK and the perfect setting for our final pairs round.

Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club

Located on the Chanonry Peninsula in the ‘Black Isle’ the Scottish Links Championship Course enjoys breathtaking views over the Moray Firth, only 20 minutes from the City of Inverness. The Championship links course is the 15th Oldest Recorded Golf Club in the World (1793). The course was re-designed by the five time Open Champion James Braid in 1932.
