Open Tournament Experience HIO Pairs – Royal Liverpool and Wallasey GC

We have been able to secure the first available tee times at Royal Liverpool following next years 151st Open Championship, along with the amazing Wallasey GC in our Open Tournament Experience HIO Pairs Event.

Due to the limited availability to play Hoylake straight after the Open we have only been able to secure 16 x pairs spaces for this 36 hole event.

Having watched the exciting climax to next years Open Championship you can look forward to teeing it up surrounded by Grandstands and putting out of the Open Championship speed greens.

Our winning pair will qualify to play in the National Pairs Playoff Finals for an all expenses trip to the HIO-Club 2024 Grand Final to TPC Sawgrass.

The Hole In One Club are delighted to announce this must play event, a 36 Hole Pairs Event with 1 Round over Royal Liverpool and1 Round over Wallasey GC.

The Golf Courses

Royal Liverpool (Hoylake)
Built in 1869, Royal Liverpool Golf Club is the second oldest seaside golf course in England. In 1871 the course was extended to 18 holes and was granted the designation ‘Royal’. The world-famous course was created to be a demanding test of golf and this continues to be the case, especially when the wind blows. Royal Liverpool has been host to many Open Championships and has provided popular winners such as Roberto De Vicenzo, Tiger Woods and Rory Mcilroy.

Wallasey Golf Club

Wallasey Golf Club has been welcoming golfers to our classic English Links. We have a rich history with Tom Morris Snr of St Andrews, four times Open Champion, laying out the links. An 1893 newspaper comment “..the greens were in excellent condition..” has been repeated continuously ever since.

As an England Golf Championship Venue, the Club has, and continues to, host several prestigious tournaments including qualification for The Open Championship on 4 occasions. In 1930, Bobby Jones famously qualified for The Open Championship held at nearby Hoylake, part of his Grand Slam. A portrait was commissioned, and signed by the great man, that is displayed proudly in the Clubhouse.

Booking Conditions

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, they form the basis of your contract with HIO Events Limited and set out our respective rights and obligations.

All hotel and room upgrades are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Payment will be required in full to secure your pairs place in the event.

In the event that the pairs event being cancelled due to any Covid 19 restrictions in place on travel or golf all teams will be offered alternative dates or a full refund if not wishing to continue with their booking.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all insurance, and Covid health requirements. It is your responsibility to check current regulations and if our company incurs fines or surcharges as a result of your negligence you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly.

We accept responsibility for all parts of the event as described in our literature and agree to supply such to a resonable standard. We accept responsibility for the acts and omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors (providing at the time they were carrying out work authorisedby us). Except where loss and or damage to luggage or personal possessions are concerned, we highly recommend that personal travel insurance is obtained prior to the event to cover such damage. We cannot be held responsible for the condition of golf courses because of maintenance or climate, we will try to keep clients informed of the up-to-date conditions.

In the unlikely event of a complaint please notify us immediately, most issues are easily resolved whilst you are on an event. If the matter is not solved to your satisfaction then please write to HIO Events within 28 days of your return, we will not accept liability after this time.

You may cancel at any time but the instructions will only be valid if we are notified in writing.
