Our Irish Swing HIO Pairs Event will continue our love of the emerald isle and the amazing golf experiences they offer. The event will be played over three of the finest courses in Ireland, County Louth (Ranked No8 in Ireland’s Top 100), Portmarnock Links (Ranked No23) and Seapoint (Ranked No56). A simply enchanting stretch of golfing terrain that will last long in the memory.

Our winning pair will qualify to play in the National Pairs Playoff Finals for an all expenses trip to the HIO-Club 2024 Grand Final to TPC Sawgrass.

The Hole In One Club are delighted to announce this must play event, a 54 Hole Pairs Event with 1 Round over County Louth (Baltray), 1 Round over Seapoint GC and 1 Round over Portmanock Links GC

The Golf Courses

Seapoint
Host to the Irish PGA Championship and Irish Close Golf Championship, Seapoint is a beautiful links golf course overlooking the Mourne mountains and the Irish Sea. Originally designed by Ryder Cup Vice Captain Des Smyth and Declan Branigan, Seapoint has matured into one of Ireland’s finest links courses with fescue greens and wonderfully manicured fairways, offering golfers a links golf experience to remember.

County Louth (Baltray)
Welcome to County Louth Golf Club, a links course of the highest pedigree. More affectionately known as ‘Baltray’, it is currently ranked the 8th best course in Ireland by Golf Digest, who described it as a “snapshot of the way golf should be’. It is situated approximately 4 miles from the town of Drogheda. The Irish Open professional golf tournament which is part of the PGA European Tour has been held there on two occasions, in 2004 and 2009 along with hosting multiple PGA Tournaments.

Portmanock Links
Portmanock Links is an 18 hole Bernhard Langer designed course spread across 203 acres and is set on the grounds of the old Jameson Estate of St.Marnocks. The course has played host to professional and amateur events including the 2008 & 2009 Ladies Irish Open and the 2021 Challenge Tour Irish Challenge. Portmanock Links makes full use of the dunes and natural terrain to provide a loyout that will please the most ardent of links purists. The elevated tees and greens, blind approaches and dog legs, not to mention the typical links sea breeze will keep you thinking on every shot.

Booking Conditions

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, they form the basis of your contract with HIO Events Limited and set out our respective rights and obligations.

All hotel and room upgrades are subject to availability at the time of booking.

A £200.00 deposit per amateur player will secure your team place in to the event with a further the final balance due on or before the 1st March 2023.

Upon receipt of entry a written confirmation will be issued.

In the event that the pairs event being cancelled due to any Covid 19 restrictions in place on travel or golf all teams will be offered alternative dates or a full refund if not wishing to continue with their booking.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all insurance, and Covid health requirements. It is your responsibility to check current regulations and if our company incurs fines or surcharges as a result of your negligence you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly.

We accept responsibility for all parts of the event as described in our literature and agree to supply such to a resonable standard. We accept responsibility for the acts and omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors (providing at the time they were carrying out work authorisedby us). Except where loss and or damage to luggage or personal possessions are concerned, we highly recommend that personal travel insurance is obtained prior to the event to cover such damage. We cannot be held responsible for the condition of golf courses because of maintenance or climate, we will try to keep clients informed of the up-to-date conditions.

In the unlikely event of a complaint please notify us immediately, most issues are easily resolved whilst you are on an event. If the matter is not solved to your satisfaction then please write to HIO Events within 28 days of your return, we will not accept liability after this time.

You may cancel at any time but the instructions will only be valid if we are notified in writing.
