We are delighted to welcome all teams to the UAE for our Dubai Desert Classic Tournament Experience Pro-Am in 2025. Following three amazing events in 2022, 2023 and 2024 we are proud to list this event as our headline Pro-Am of 2025 with an amazing itinerary.

A must for any golf enthusiast looking to combine a tournament Pro-Am experience over some of the finest golf courses in the world and tickets for the Final Round of the DP World Tour Desert Classic to watch the best players battle it out to become champion.

Our 54 Hole Pro-Am Tournament includes rounds over the three highest rated courses in the UAE, a round over Dubai Creek host to the European Tours Dubai Desert Classic on two occasions, a round over The Els Club one of the worlds finest championship courses and The Majlis Course, Emirates Golf Club the Home of the Dubai Desert Classic, where we have secured the first available tee times available to enjoy playing the course in Tournament Conditions just three days after watching the worlds best complete their final round.

We are proud to announce that our event will offer the biggest Dubai first prizes in Pro-Am Golf with the winner picking up a cool £10,000.00 for their efforts and one of the largest amateur team prizes in Pro-Am golf with a free return trip (excluding flights) for the winning team in single rooms and hospitality at the final round of the DP World Tour Dubai Desert Classic (worth over £10,000)

The Golf Courses

Majlis

The Majlis Course is Home to the Dubai Desert Classic and the European Ladies Tour, this layout boasts a world-class course and is a must-play layout in Dubai. The Clubhouse reflects a Bedouin tented village, and our teams are guaranteed to experience the oldest Arabian tradition of all, hospitality.

Opened in 1988, the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club was nicknamed “The Desert Miracle” when it became Dubai’s first all-grass championship course. This 7,200 yard, par-72 course is a real pleasure to play, and offers a challenge to all levels; the course record is held by the great Ernie Els, with a 61. Enjoy playing the course set up for the DP World Tour only days after crowning their champion.

The seven lakes and the natural vegetation make this golf course visually stunning, and this extended to the off-course areas. Considered the best of the two Emirates courses, The Majlis is designed around the tall dunes of Dubai and will be a fitting venue for the Final Round of our Pro-Am in 2022.

Dubai Creek

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has been host to numerous tournaments and events, including the Dubai Desert Classic on two occasions.

The Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club course sets up for a thrilling finale to a round with its two par 4 closing holes. The 17th and 18th have the Creek guarding the entire left side of the fairway. While the 17th can still be conquered with some smart play, the 18th requires mandatory cerebral involvement on every shot. There is water on the left and a long bunker on the right, beyond which is water again. A good drive will still leave you with a long iron into the tiered and sloping green, which is guarded at the front and right by a body of water.

The Els Club 

Renowned as one of the finest golfing destinations in the Middle East, the unique experience of The Els Club is one that creates everlasting memories and should be on every golfers must-play list.

Those who appreciate life’s finest pleasures will embrace this true sporting gem which has been sensationally designed by Ernie Els, former US Open and Open Championship winner. Ernie has a passion for the great links courses of the UK, where he has won two of his 4 major championships, and in creating The Els Club he set about recreating some of these design features in a desert landscape. Thus a ‘desert links’ was born, one that was quickly named ‘best new international course’ by the prestigious US magazine, Links.

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, they form the basis of your contract with HIO Events Limited and set out our respective rights and obligations.

All hotel and room upgrades are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Pro-Am Tournament fees are payable in full at the time of request

A £1500.00 team deposit will secure your team place in to the event with the final balance due on or before the 1st November 2023.

Upon receipt of entry a written confirmation will be issued.

The free return trip in 2026 for the winning team is non transferable.

All practice round cancellations must be made within 30 days of the date of play otherwise no refunds can be offered.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all insurance, and Covid health requirements. It is your responsibility to check current regulations and if our company incurs fines or surcharges as a result of your negligence you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly.

We accept responsibility for all parts of the event as described in our literature and agree to supply such to a resonable standard. We accept responsibility for the acts and omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors (providing at the time they were carrying out work authorisedby us). Except where loss and or damage to luggage or personal possessions are concerned, we highly recommend that personal travel insurance is obtained prior to the event to cover such damage. We cannot be held responsible for the condition of golf courses because of maintenance or climate, we will try to keep clients informed of the up-to-date conditions.

In the unlikely event of a complaint please notify us immediately, most issues are easily resolved whilst you are on an event. If the matter is not solved to your satisfaction then please write to HIO Events within 28 days of your return, we will not accept liability after this time.

You may cancel at any time but the instructions will only be valid if we are notified in writing.
