Kevin Taylor was crowned Hole in One Club Champion 2017 at our exclusive winner’s event at TPC Sawgrass.
In a very closely fought contest, Kevin from Ripon City Golf Club won by a single point ahead of Nigel Bickerton, from Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club. Waterton Park’s Richard Ashmore finished third.
Richard was also crowned our Nearest to the Pin Champion, after he hit a terrific 144 yard shot onto the heart of the Sawgrass’ famous Island Green from the Sunday tee position:
Our winners departed for Florida on Thursday 23rd February and took park in two days of competition on the Friday and Saturday, before spending the rest of their time in Florida visiting the World Golf Hall of Fame, enjoying more golf at Shingle Creek and Southern Dunes Golf Club as well as exploring Orlando.
